- AMENDMENT 001 - Amendment 001 Serves to extend the IFB�submission deadline to close at 05:00 PM Central Time, on May 11, 2021. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation - Acquisition Division is�issuing�an Invitatino for Bids (IFB) in accordance with FAR PAR 14 on behalf of the USDA - Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) for ACEP-WRE Construction Project in Woodson County, Kansas.� The work consists of construction of wetland restoration that includes the following items: mobilization, staking, clearing & grubbing, excavation, and filling.� The solicitation is�a Total Small Business set-aside. Interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award.� An organized site visit has been scheduled for Thursday, April 08, 2021 at 10:00 AM CST. Participants will meet at the corner intersection of Xylan Rd and 80th Rd leading up to the North & South Easements.� A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding. A bid guarantee (SF-24), in the amount of 20% of the bid, is required to be submitted with each bid. Performance (SF-25) and Payment (SF-25A) Bonds, in the amount of 100% will be required from the successful bidder within 10 calendar days of award of contract.� The anticipated period of performance for this project is 100 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP).� In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the projects is between�$100,000 and $250,000.00. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $39.5M.
