- The 765th ABS/CONF/PKA at Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation, FA448621Q0005, as a Request for Quote (RFQ) prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, & FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation is for a Solid State Media Disintegrator and accessories, to include delivery to Lajes Field, Terceira Island, Portugal. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 333999 � All Other Miscellaneous General Purpose Machinery Manufacturing. The attached specifications demonstrate the minimum salient characteristics required for this acquisition. Please be sure to review them closely when submitting a quote.�Take into consideration the shipping instructions as well before submitting a quote.�Thorough instructions for submitting quotes can be found on the attached SF1449, as addenda to FAR 52.212-1 INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS -- COMMERCIAL ITEMS. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract, IAW FAR 16.202. This solicitation is intended to result in a single award. Please be advised that this RFQ in no manner obligates the Government regarding award of a contract that results from the issuance of this solicitation. Vendors must have an active www.SAM.gov registration at the time of award to be considered. All questions related to this solicitation must be submitted no later than Wednesday, 12 May 2021, 2:00PM local time, to contract specialist Ashley Fantazia ashley.fantazia.pt@us.af.mil and 65conf.lgc.all@us.af.mil. All quotes must be submitted electronically no later than Friday, 21 May 2021, by 2:00PM local time.
