- *** THIS INFORMATION HAS BEEN UPDATED AS OF 5/5/2021 *** Ice Trailer Rental & Delivery Services � Fort Hood, Texas This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts or request for quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain the following information: (1) The availability and capability of qualified sources; (2) Whether they are a small or large business relative to their size classification under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for the proposed acquisition (312113) with a size standard in number of employees is 750. The U. S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey is issuing this Sources Sought Notice in an effort to perform market research to assist in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy for the procurement of ice deliveries and a reefer trailer to store the ice. This mission is in support of the 174th Infantry Brigade�s training exercise to be performed at Fort Hood, Texas. �The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed-price requirements contract as a result of the solicitation to be issued. The expected period of performance is during a training exercise scheduled for 6 July until 30 July 2021. The Service Provider will furnish bagged ice and two reefer trailers to remain at two locations on Fort Hood, TX for the duration of the exercise with the purpose to store and maintain ice in a frozen state. There are no Government provided sources of power for the trailers at these locations, therefore the reefer trailers must be run from a generator or gas/diesel powered and shall be provided by the Service Provider. The Service Provider shall also plan, program, administer, manage, and execute the work necessary to provide two reefer trailers and ice as required by the projected requirement of 3,500 lbs. of ice per day for 25 total days with a total of 87,500lbs of ice. Attached is a DRAFT Specification of Work for planning purposes only. No solicitation documents exist at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these services or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this notice and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Submittal Requirements: 1) Name of Company; Company Address; Point of Contact, with Name, Phone Number, Email Address, NAICS Code, DUNS Number, CAGE Code, and Socio-Economic Size Status (Large/Small Business/HubZone/8(a)/Woman Owned Small Business/etc.). 2) Contractor acknowledges a clear understanding of all tasks specified in the DRAFT Specification of Work. 3) Contractor confirms full capabilities of completing the required work specified in the DRAFT Specification of Work. 4) Responses shall be limited to two pages and emailed to Jasmyne.C.Peterson.civ@mail.mil.
