- Project Title: Repair Rubberized Running Track Repair the Rubberized Running Track at Mor�n AB, Spain in Accordance with attached drawings and specifications. The magnitude of construction for this project is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000 U.S. Dollars. is furnished for the convenience of prospective contractors. The actual extent of work requirements will be governed by the specifications and drawings. A pre-proposal conference/site visit will be held 19 May 2021, 10:00 hours local time, in the Contracting Conference room, Building 106. Please contact the POC's listed in Section L at least 5 labor days prior to coordinate attendance of the site visit. All Third Country Nationals must notify the POC's at least 10 labor days prior to the solicitation closing date, as they must be approved through ODC Madrid prior to requesting base access. Proposals must be received by the Contracting Officer (as described in Sec L) no later than 10:00 hours local time on 3 June 2021. Proposals submitted by the facsimile will NOT be accepted. IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AGREEMENT OF DEFENSE COOPERATION BETWEEN THE U.S.A. AND THE KINGDOM OF SPAIN, ANNEX 6, ARTICLE 1(5) ""SPANISH MATERIAL, LABOR, AND EQUIPMENT SHALL BE USED WHENEVER FEASIBLE AND CONSISTENT WITH THE REQUIREMENTS"" The work includes, but is not limited to: ����������������������� a.�Topographic survey of the rubberized athletics track. ����������������������� b. Saw cut of the synthetic polyvalent pavement areas damaged with cracks or loose pavement. ����������������������� c. Removal of the synthetic polyvalent pavement areas damaged with cracks or loose pavement. ����������������������� d.�Saw cut of the asphalt pavement areas damaged with cracks or loose pavement. ����������������������� e.�Removal of the asphalt pavement areas damaged with cracks or loose pavement. ����������������������� f.��Cleaning of cracks and areas with loose pavement with compressed air. ����������������������� g.�Placing and compaction of cold asphalt in areas with loose asphalt. ����������������������� h.�Filling in of the asphalt cracks with non-retraction epoxy mortar. ����������������������� i.��Priming of the asphalt surface of the areas damaged with cracks or loose asphalt with polyurethane primer. ����������������������� j.��Placing of base layer of polyurethane binder with recycled rubber granules. ����������������������� k.�Placing of spray coating of polyurethane with EPDM granules and powder. ����������������������� l.��Clean the surface of the rubberized athletics track without damages areas. ����������������������� m. Dry the surface of the rubberized athletics track. ����������������������� n.�Priming of the polyurethane surface of the rubberized athletics track with polyurethane primer. ����������������������� o.�Placing of coating for retopping on the rubberized athletics track with polyurethane with EPDM granules. ����������������������� p.�Application of two sealing lacquer coats of polyurethane on the rubberized athletics track. ����������������������� q.�Marking of rubberized athletics track with white and color polyurethane for outdoor surfaces in accordance with IIAF marking plan for 400 m standard track. ����������������������� r. Replacement of damaged curbs. ����������������������� s.�General cleaning of the work site. ����������������������� t.�Delivery of As-Built drawings. ����������������������� u.�Delivery spatial data of the rubberized running track. The certification requirements are as follows: CERTIFICATION OF CLASSIFICATION: Bidders and/or their subcontractors must hold an updated Certificate of Classification issued by the ""Registro Oficial de Licitadores y Empresas Clasificadas del Estado"", covering the following groups, subgroups, and categories. The certificate holder must execute the activities related to the certificate. GROUP SUBGROUP CATEGORY G���������������������6�������������������1 O���������������������2�������������������1 In order to be awarded a contract by the U.S. Government, the company must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM); contracts cannot be awarded to unregistered contractors.
