- Sources Sought The National Park Service requests information from vendors registered under NAICS code 238160, Roofing Contractors, with a Small Business Size Standard $16.5M for an upcoming construction requirement at Hot Springs National Park, Hot Springs Arkansas. Project Description: Replace roofs of multiple buildings at Hot Springs National Park. Replace roofing on one carpenter shop, one warehouse, one residence, two duplexes, and three garage buildings. Approximate total square footage of all roofing to be replaced is 23,144. Majority of roofs are nearly 20 years old. The old asphalt shingles and felt will need to be replaced with new materials that will match the existing look of the buildings. Repairs to the wood decking may be necessary once it is exposed. Replacement of vent boots, chimney flashing with new materials may be necessary. Replacement of deteriorated soffit, fascia, trim pieces is anticipated. Exterior wood elements that are repaired or replaced will need to be primed and painted as applicable. The Carpenter Shop roof contains 96 solar panels that will need to be uninstalled prior to shingle work and then reinstalled once shingle work has been completed. Magnitude of Construction estimate: Between $100,000 and $250,000 Responses to this announcement are requested from (1) SBA certified Small Business HubZone firms (2) Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms (3) Woman Owned Small Business firms (4) Small Business firms (5) Small Business 8(a) firms and (6) any firm eligible to compete in full and open competition. Vendors will be required to be registered in SAM and have a DUNS number to be eligible for consideration when or if the solicitation is released.
