- TITLE: LARGE TIER IDIQ DESIGN/BUILD SERVICES OFPM/Team A-SS21-10 This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to determine the availability of Large and Small Businesses (e.g., 8(a), Service-disabled veteran owned small business, HUBZone small business, Small disadvantaged business, Veteran-owned small business, and Women-owned small business) under NAICS code, 236220, that have the capability, experience, and expert knowledge to provide Architectural design, Engineering design and Construction Services as a single Design/Build entity. The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) is a Research & Development (R&D) facility with 52 buildings located on (578-acre) site in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The NIST site has approximately 3,424,353 gross square feet (GSF) of floor space including R&D, office, and service areas. The majorities of the building are brick exterior in construction and are approximately 50 - 60 years old. NIST is seeking information on qualified Large and Small Businesses for an IDIQ Design/Build contract that can provide Architectural design, Engineering design and Construction Services under NAICS Code 236220. �Design/Build services are for Gaithersburg, Maryland. If a contract can be subsequently awarded it may be for a base year plus 4 one-year option periods. Single Task Orders will range from $700K to $30M. Life of the contract maximum value will be $120M. General Requirements: Purpose: The purpose of this sources sought is to identify interested, qualified parties, capable of providing design/build services for office fit-outs, laboratory renovations, and new building construction. Projects may include the associated modification of, and/or new installation of mechanical, electrical and architectural systems and services in existing buildings and/or underground utility infrastructures. �New construction and commercial utility systems are included. �Abatement of hazardous containing material may also be included. The contractor will be responsible for designing and building construction projects that include typical office fit-outs, renovations, and new construction inclusive of the applicable mechanical, electrical, and architectural modifications associated with state-of-the-art research laboratories and supporting facilities.� In addition to general office space renovations, these projects may include clean rooms, HEPA air filtration, HVAC, fume hoods, vibration isolation, environmental chambers, purified water systems, specialized electrical services, and other types of utilities and services dictated by the nature of the work that is to be performed in the completed laboratories.� Projects may be subject to conformance with the Secretary of the Interior�s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties (SOI Standards) ���� ����� Requested information: Company Name DUNS Number Point of Contact name and phone number Type/Size of company for NAICS Code 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Social Economic status, as validated via the https://beta.sam.gov/content/home .
