- UPDATED 10 MAY 2021 Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Intrusion Detection Systems Residential 1. � This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the� format in FAR Subpart 13.5 and the format in FAR 12.6., Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and� Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this� notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for proposal and a written solicitation� will not be issued. 2. � This combined synopsis/solicitation number is W9124J-21-R-IDSR. �This solicitation is issued� as a Request for Proposal. 3. � The proposal shall be received prior to 17 May 2021 at 2:00PM, Central Standard Time (CST), in� order to be considered by the Government. 4.� � A contractor site visit has been scheduled for this week, Thursday, 13 May 2021 at 10:30AM CST. Contractors will not be reimburse for the site visit. The visit entails touring three residences. The order of the visit is as follows and all potential contractors should meet the POC, Ms. Lidia Hedderman, Housing Manager, 915-539-3931 at the first address at 10:15AM CST - 2000 Sharon Lane, Austin, TX 78703. Streets are narrow and parking is scarce at all three properties; however, this property has an ample designated parking lot adjacent to the residence. Parking has been coordinated with the POC for this address to allow us to park for the duration of the site visit to all three residences as an option to car pool to the other two locations. Based on previous site visits, each house would take approximately 1 hour. � � � 1513 Northwood Road, Austin, TX 78703 � � � 1610 Westover Road, Austin, TX 78703 5. � The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561621, Security Systems� Services, with a corresponding size standard listed in the Small Business Size Regulations 13 CFR �� 121.201 of $22 million. The applicable Product Service Code (PSC) for this requirement is N063,� Installation of Equipment � Alarm Signal and Security Detection Systems. 6. � The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-Fort Sam Houston Contracting Office, on� behalf of the U.S. Army Futures Command (AFC) is soliciting proposals for non-personal services of� General Officers and Staff residential intrusion detection systems (IDS) for three (3) residential houses, to include 24/7 alarm monitoring, as described in Attachment 01 Performance� Work Statement IDS. This contract will be in support of the U.S. Army Futures Command. 7. � The contract type will be Firm Fixed Price with a period of performance consisting of a twelve� (12) months base period and four (4) 12-month option periods. The place of performance for all work� will be performed at residential homes located in Austin, TX. There is the potential of a six-month extension of services in accordance with FAR 52.217-8, Option to� Extend Services is not included in the dates 8. � The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial, applies to this� acquisition.
