Description: The Aids to Navigation Team (ANT) Honolulu maintains Pepeekeo Point Light, an Aid to Navigation (ATON) on the Island of Hawaii. The aid is 72� in height. There are approximately 10 ironwood trees, over 50� in height, which are blocking the visibility of the aid. The trees are too tall for ANT Honolulu personnel to safely remove. The trees are on Coast Guard property. The property is also used by the University of Hawaii for a soil-monitoring project, with various probes in the ground. We require a vendor who can remove the trees safely without damaging any of the structures or monitoring equipment.
