Description
Sources Sought Information Request Form � Project Name: Service Member and Family Support of the Oregon National Guard Youth Outreach program services. � Brief Description: The contractor will work to support Joint Forces Headquarters � Oregon National Guard Soldier Member Family Support Division. The mission of the Youth Outreach Coordinator is to oversee the administration, development, and delivery of youth programs, cooperative programs, and community partners designed to support the youth of military personnel of all branches and components. Concurrently supports the Quality of Life (QOL) staff from all branches and components (National Guard State Family Program Director, Fleet and Family Services, Marine and Family Program, Air National Guard Airman & Family Readiness Program Manager, Navy Fleet and Family Services, Coast Guard Office of Work-Life Programs). The contractor shall be responsible for the development of a military life cycle (recruit, train, deploy, retire, and helping with survivor benefits for family) curriculum for the child, planning youth events, implementation of all programs, and administration of the youth program concerning family and quality of life issues while a family member is in the military life cycle.� Examples of service provided include, but are not limited to, liaison with the Child Care Aware, facilitating the United Through Reading program (voice books for children of deployed members) and makes connection between the School Liaisons based at Joint Base Lewis McCord with identified military connected families who qualify for School Liaison services. The solicitation will be available during this Fiscal Year.
