Description
This Sources Sought is for information and market research only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The VA is currently conducting market research to locate qualified experienced and interested potential sources. Responses will NOT be considered as proposals, nor will any award be incurred by interested parties in responding to this sources sought announcement. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Business or Large Business) relative to NAICS 331529, Other Nonferrous Metal Foundries (except Die-Casting) size standard 500 employees. Responses to this Sources Sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published on the betaSAM website. NCA Contract Service is seeking interested sources (contractors) for a near-future solicitation and procurement for Plaques and Urns. Plaque: made of wood, with the bronze 1 ½ inch VA medallion attached, and the capability to inscribe the Veteran s name, dates of birth and death only. The plaque must be able to stand on its own or be hung on a wall and not exceed the dimensions of 7-3/4 x 11- ¼ x ¾ . Urn: a box, made of wood or bronze, with the bronze 1 ½ inch VA medallion attached. It should be no smaller than 130 cubic inches and no larger than 250 cubic inches. The urn will need to be delivered to the recipient within 2 weeks of receiving the order. Packing and shipping will be done by the contractor and at their expense. The period of performance shall be a 12-month base period and four (4) option years to be exercised at the Government's discretion. Responses must be emailed to katherine.iacovelli@va.gov no later than 2:00PM on May 31, 2021: Your responses must include: Pictures/Drawings of ideas and prices of each Business size and socio-economic status information. Acknowledgment of current Online Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA), Acknowledgment of System for Award Management (SAM) registration. Acknowledgment VetBiz registration if applicable.
