- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the combined synopsis/solicitation; quotations are being requested. The solicitation number is FA301621Q0062 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) with a performance period of a base year + 4 (12-month) option periods. This requirement is a 100% Small Business set-aside and the NAICS code is 812320. This is a non-personal service contract as defined in FAR 37.101.The Contractor shall provide the facility, labor, supervision, materials, equipment, vehicles for laundry and dry cleaning services to include pickup and delivery from Contractor�s Facility to locations at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland-Randolph, Chapman Annex, and Camp Bullis as defined in the�Performance Work Statement (PWS). In addition, the Contractor shall provide services and transportation for a Linen Exchange at 2 (two) JBSA Lackland locations and 1 (one) facility at Chapman Annex.�Contractor shall provide contract personnel at each Linen Exchange point that will be required to count and/or validate the quantities of all soiled linen that is received from technical training schools and base/operational support mission partners, and all soiled and cleaned linen items that are exchanged between the government and the contractor. Linen exchange services also include but are not limited to the maintenance of a linen inventory to accommodate unserviceable and/or emergency requirements.
