NASA is seeking capability statements from all interested parties, including all socioeconomic categories of Small Businesses and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU)/Minority Institutions (MI), for the purposes of determining the appropriate level of competition and/or small business subcontracting goals for a potential xEVAS procurement. The Government reserves the right to consider a Small, 8(a), Women-owned (WOSB), Service Disabled Veteran (SD-VOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women-owned Small Business (EDWOSB) or HUBZone business set-aside based on responses received. NASAs interest is identifying interest from Industry in the provision of commercial EVA services wherein the agency relies upon the contractor to provide the full suite of services and equipment required to perform all activities and operations required to enable EVA capability for NASAs current and future missions. NASAs use of the term commercial is not meant to be confused with the term commercial item as used in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
