- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), National Acquisitions Section, Contracting Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources that have the ability to provide Formerly Incarcerated Motivational Speaker services to inmates who are currently housed in various federal institutions. Preference includes speakers who were incarcerated in Bureau of Prisons facilities and who completed evidence-based programs during their incarceration. The motivational speaking engagements must be sufficiently broad in scope to effectively meet the needs of a diverse inmate population including age, race, ethnicity, culture, sexual preference, physical abilities and religion. Each motivational speaking session must be a minimum of 60 minutes and not to exceed 90 minutes in length. This does not include time for processing in and out of the institution. The contractor may speak at one or more of 122 different institutions located nationwide as determined by the needs of the institutions.� The period of performance shall be for one (1) year.� The BOP anticipates the overall engagement of this contract to begin before the end of Fiscal Year 2021. Upon the award of the contract, the COR will host a mandatory preliminary meeting for initial introductions of involved parties. This meeting may be held via video or teleconference. The services shall be in accordance with the Statement of Work. The request for quotation is being made available on May 14,�2021 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration�s beta.sam.gov.� Hard copies of the quotation will not be available.� The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date will be on or about May 31, 2021�at 12 pm ET.� The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract.� All responsible business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered by this agency.
