- This sole source extension of the Application and Eligibility Determination System (AEDS), contract No. 91003119C007, is to continue to provide required critical mission services to the Department of Education, Federal Student Aid, for the 2023/2024 Free Application For Student Aid (FAFSA�) Cycle without interruption. The FAFSA� is used by current and prospective college students in the United States to determine their eligibility for student financial aid. Service disruption could potentially cause concerns that colleges may deny admission, waitlist applicants, or offer less financial aid as a result of such interpretations. Due to the cancellation of an anticipated solicitation for the work by a prospective other offeror for the 2023/2024 FAFSA� cycle, it is prudent that the incumbent begin and continue support on the 2023/2024 FAFSA� Cycle development, operation and maintenance. The Product Service Code is: D318 - �IT AND TELECOM- INTEGRATED HARDWARE/SOFTWARE/SERVICES SOLUTIONS, PREDOMINANTLY SERVICES Vendor comments or capability statements submitted to the Contracting Officer at Carolyn.Dickens@ed.gov with a copy to LaWanda.King@ed.gov no later than Noon Eastern Daylight Time on Friday, May 28, 2021 will be considered by the government. The approved Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition will be posted on Beta.SAM.gov within 14 days after the extension award.
