- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Richmond VAMC Upgrade Fire Suppression & Annunciation System The Department of Veterans Affairs, 100 Emancipation Drive Hampton, VA 23667 has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials and supervision necessary to reconfigure and update the current diesel fire pump at the Hunter Holmes McGuire Hospital building 501 located at 1201 Broad Rock Blvd. Richmond, VA 23249 in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Contractor must comply with the current VA standards for hospital construction and patient care. General Scope: Work shall include, but is not limited to demolition, architectural, electrical, (data cabling), plumbing, structural, and mechanical improvements, alterations, roads, walks, grading, drainage, necessary removal of existing structures and construction, and certain other items. Contract Duration: 275 calendar days from notice to proceed (NTP) Estimated magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 NAICS: 238210-Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors Size Standard: $16.5 Million This solicitation is anticipated to be an open market, service-disabled veteran owned small business set aside (SDVOSB). Solicitation material will be available on/about May 4, 2021. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation, tentatively scheduled for 05/17/2021 at 9:00 am eastern standard time. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No interested parties list is maintained. All interested vendors should register on this website.
