- Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) hereby gives notice of the Government s intent to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Priced Purchase Order with only one source, Pacific Integrated Handling, Inc. The procurement is for software updates on an existing Modula inventory system at the San Francisco VA Medical Center: 4150 Clement St., San Francisco, CA 94121. This contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b), only one source reasonably available. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance) and the Federal Supply Code (FSC) is J065 (Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can software updates on an existing Modula inventory system for San Francisco VA Medical Center may give written notice to moneque.rodriguez@va.gov by 3:00PM Hawaii Time on May 21, 2021. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS SYNOPSIS DOES NOT COMMIT THE GOVERNMENT TO CONTRACT FOR ANY SUPPLY OR SERVICE. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION OR ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS INCURRED IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS.
