Description

The government is seeking sources to provide annual preventative maintenance and onsite repairs for the QUINTUS Technologies Fluid Cell Press Model number QFC14X41000, located at the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD), Corpus Christi, Texas in accordance with (IAW) the Performance Work Statement (PWS). QUINTUS Technologies has proprietary rights to this equipment and therefore they will have to perform the maintenance. A draft copy of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached. This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is a survey to locate potential small business sources.� This Sources Sought does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, or a Request for Quotations, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue an order or otherwise pay for the information solicited, nor is it a guarantee of a forthcoming solicitation or contract. It is for market research purposes only. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, to include the Small Business Community: Small Business, Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB). The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors. Small business, Section 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, & EDWOSB businesses are highly encouraged to participate. Questions concerning this sources sought may be directed to Tilson Dyer, Contract Specialist, tilson.h.dyer.civ@mail.mil.� Interested parties are requested to submit the following information: 1.) What type of work has your company performed in the past in support of the same or similar requirement? 2.) Can or has your company managed a task of this nature? If so, please provide details. 3.) Can or has your company managed a team of subcontractors before? If so, provide details. 4.) What is your CAGE code/DUNS number, and are you registered under any of the Small Business Administration social/economic groups (8(a), WOSB, EDWOSB, EDVOSB, HUBZone). The estimated period of performance consists of base year plus 2 options with performance estimated to commence in June 2021. The contract type is anticipated to be a hybrid of Firm Fixed Price and Time and Material. The proposed contract is anticipated to include tasking that would be accomplished by labor categories that are subject to the Service Contract Act or a collective bargaining agreement. Your response to this Sources Sought, including any capabilities statement, shall be electronically submitted to the Contract Specialist, Tilson Dyer, in either Microsoft Word or Portable Document Format (PDF), via email tilson.h.dyer.civ@mail.mil. All data received in response to this Sources Sought that is marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from any release outside the Government. No phone calls will be accepted. All questions must be submitted to the contract specialist identified above. The Government is not committed nor obligated to pay for the information provided, and no basis for claims against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this Sources Sought.
