- Description
- This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source and is not a request for competitive proposals. The authority for this sole-source procurement is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Gordon intends to issue a sole-source, firm-fixed price award to Government Scientific Source., IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The justification for the sole source is due to Qiagen having a small business GSA contract with Qiagen as being the manufacturer and sole authorized company.� Therefore, Government Scientific Source can provide and support these products in GA without written authorization, agreement, and /or consent from Qiagen. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government shall consider all responses received by 21 May 2021 at 9:00am Est. All interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. MICC - Fort Gordon will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice.
