Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central (RHCO-C), Fort Hood Health Contracting Branch (FHHCB), Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to GE Healthcare, 3000 N. Grandview Blvd, Mail Stop W-443, Waukesha, Wisconsin 53188 under the authority 41 U.S.C. 1901, IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Only one source is reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization. The requirement is for a maintenance service contract for the Government-owned GE Mammography System (Model number SENOGRAPHE ESSEN). This requirement will be for Munson Army Health Center, (MAHC), Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, 66027. Award will be on or about 24 May 2021.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The estimated period of performance is 1 - 30 June 2021. The Small Business Size Standard is $22M. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.� This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for the non-personal service of medical maintenance for the Government owned GE Healthcare Mammography System (Model number SENOGRAPHE ESSEN). The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available. A solicitation will not be published.
