- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY 1. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 19, is seeking interested parties/sources that are interested in providing Furniture Disposal to remove and dispose of contaminated government owned cubicle furniture, office furniture, metal file cabinets, scrap metal and cubicle support pieces and parts located in the 12,000 square foot VA OCC warehouse located at the Denver Federal Center 6th Ave & Kipling St. Bldg. 41 Lakewood CO 80225 using the General Services Administrations (GSA) abandonment and destruction process. The requirement is being developed. Please provide your name and capability statement. 2. The Government is interested in potential sources that can provide the required services. Interested parties are encouraged to respond to this announcement. 3. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (HUBZone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business or large business) relative to NACIS 562219 Other Waste Collection ($41.5 Million size standard). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published on Contract Opportunities or GSA. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. 4. This is a sources sought announcement ONLY and is NOT a request for proposals or quotes. 5.
