- The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a BRAND NAME source procurement action with Tucson Business Interiors, Inc. for the procurement of the following items: CLIN 0001: Contractor will provide all materials to install 18 Retractable Doors, 46 glass stacks, and 22 panels and associated Hardware This requirement is accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1) Soliciting from a Single Source. This requirement is being conducted to support an immediate need for clear glass panel stacks and other accessories to be delivered and installed on existing Haworth modular furniture which will increase protective measures against air borne hazard transmission.� Tucson Business Interiors, Inc. has been identified as an authorized Haworth modular furniture dealer serving the Tucson, Arizona region. Haworth products are designed, engineered and manufactured within an integrated product portfolio which limit the availability of compatible products that may be added to older existing modular furniture. �As an authorized distributor Tucson Business Interiors, Inc. is capable of providing the glass stacks that would satisfy this requirement immediately and ensure installation compatibility with the existing furniture.� This is a notice of intent to award a BRAND NAME procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals.� Questions regarding this notice must be submitted by Tuesday, 25 May at 3:00 pm PST to Contracting Officer Heidi Fox, at e-mail heidi.fox@us.af.mil , or phone (520) 228-6563 or Contracting Officer Rachelle Jenkins at email rachelle.jenkins.3@us.af.mil or phone (520) 228-3095. �All inquiries received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. �Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. �The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this notice/solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an Offeror for any costs.
