- 5/21/2021 - AMENDMENT 001 IS POSTED The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation -Acquisition Division is issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) in accordance with FAR Part 14 on behalf of the USDA- Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) Louisiana for the Golden Meadow Plant Materials Center (PMC) located in Galliano, Lafourche, Louisiana.� The objectives of this project are to renovate the Golden Meadow PMC main office building according to a pre-established design plan. The design includes a complete renovation of the PMC Main Office Building to include concrete work, metalwork, woodwork, plastic work, thermal and moisture protection, fire suppression efforts, furnishing, electrical, plumbing, and heating, ventilation, & air conditioning. The solicitation is a Total Small Business set-aside. Interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award.� A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated.� The anticipated period of performance for this project is 270 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP). In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project is between�$500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $36.5M.� An organized site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 05, 2021 at 09:00 AM Central Time.� Bidder's are encouraged to attend the site visit scheduled for May 5, 2021 which, due to COVID-19 restrictions, will be handled in two phases. A teleconference will be held beginning at 09:00�A.M. Central Time by calling 1-888-844-9904, access code 4401018 followed by an on-site walk through visit which will be scheduled by appointment at 10:00 A.M. Central Time. Prospective bidders must register in advance to attend the walk through and, depending the number of registrants, will be scheduled a time slot- a maximum of 2 persons per contractor will be allowed to attend and masks will be required to be worn while on federal property. The site visit's physical location will be held at the Golden Meadow PMC (438 Airport Road, Galliano, Lafourche County, Louisiana 70354).� Questions shall be submitted by email to Laureen Eipp at Laureen.Eipp@usda.gov by May 14, 2021 and answers will be provided in an amendment on or around May 20, 2021�
