- Description
- The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1) to COSGROVE AIRCRAFT SERVICE INC for brake overhaul for G550 aircraft. USCG Air Station (AIRSTA) Washington is charged with providing air transport to senior government officials.� To meet global mission requirements 24/7/365, flight planning and aircraft support services are necessary to maintain maximum flexibility and mission readiness in support of global operations.� COSGROVE AIRCRAFT SERVICE INC has established a unique and flexible approach to provide expedient delivery services and 24/7/365 support of an aircraft on ground (AOG) situation (i.e., aircraft grounded due to maintenance or repair requirements).� These services are necessary to ensure AIRSTA Washington can meet requisite aircraft availability. This is not a request for quotes.� A solicitation package will not be issued.
