- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS This Sources Sought Notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for a Quote (RFQ). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Irwin, California is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sourcesto provide Dust Control Applicants to the Manix Trail, a 25 mile unpaved road, to reduce the fugitive dust from treated surfaces generated by training rotations traveling to and from Fort Irwin over the Manix Trail.� The areas to be treated are heavy tactical wheeled and tracked vehicle roads, tank trails, helipads, staging areas, maintenance yards, and land rehabilitation sites which may be approximately 10 to 20 more miles beyond the installation. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Government wide Point of Entry, Sam.Gov (https://sam.gov/.� For the purposes of the SSN, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 325180 - Other Basic Inorganic Chemical Manufacturing. The small busines size standard is 1,000 employees. In response to this sources sought notice, please provide: 1.� Name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, DUNS number, CAGE code, a statement regarding small business status (including small business type(s)/certifications(s) such as SDB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.), and the corresponding NAICS code. 2.� Identify whether your firm is interested in competing for this requirement as a prime contractor or not.� Identify subcontracting, joint ventures or teaming arrangement that will be pursued, if any. 3. �Information in sufficient detail regarding previous experience (indicate whether as a prime contractor or subcontractor) on similar requirements (include size, scope, complexity, timeframe, government or commercial), pertinent certifications, etc., that will facilitate making an informed acquisition strategy.� Please indicate which NAICS code(s) your company usually performs under Government contracts to include any GSA contracts. 4.� Information to help determine if the requirement to provide Dust Control Applicant Services is commercially available.� Provide a current capability statement with the formal response. 5.� Identify how the Army can best structure this contract requirement to facilitate competition by and among small business concerns.
