- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT Under the authority of FAR 6.302-2, the United Stated Coast Guard, Procurement and Contracting Division (DOL-95), intends to award a sole source Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Firm-Fixed Price contract to Go Deep International Inc. to provide up to 175 All Season Navigation Buoys. Under the authority of USC 2304(c)(1) pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, the product or services needed by the agency are available from only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination not to compete this proposed contract is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the government. As evidenced in the sole source justification provided by the requiring activity there is only responsible source, Go Deep International which manufacturers a commercially available, all season buoy, that can meet the required results for year round deployment.�� The specific criteria for this type of buoy is unique and is shown in the attached Sole Source Justification. Even though the intent is for a sole source contract, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. Quotations are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement through email submission to James.C.Kanash@uscg.mil �no later than 03:00 PM Eastern, 7 June 2021. If no responses are received by the above referenced date/time a sole source contract will be awarded to Go Deep International Inc.� The award date is estimated to be no later than 30 June 2021
