Description

PLACE OF PEFORMANCE USCGC HAMILTON NORTH CHARLESTON, SC 29405 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 06/07-06/11/2021 The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, National Security Cutters Branch 2, Alameda, CA anticipates awarding this procurement to ALLIED SYSTEMS COMPANY for the service listed below: �CTR will provide the following: 1. CTR will inspect and re-align the cables on the dual point davit. 2. CTR will conduct an operational test to verify that the winch and guide do not end up out of sync after multiple runs. 3. CTR will investigate the levelwind issue by taking apart and inspect the winch clutches to verify that they are not slipping. 4. CTR will perform troubleshooting steps as described in the following pages 5. CTR will use remaining time to inspect remainder of the davit for discrepancies and troubleshoot. 6. CTR will submit a trip report to the asset manager outlining how the trip went and will provide recommendations on how to further improve the operation of the Davit and will list what parts (if any) need to be procured. Government Furnished Equipment: 1. Torque Limiter tool, PN X-203447 This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC HAMILTON NORTH CHARLESTON,SC. Vendor will provide the part/supply stated in the solicitation description. �NAICS Code # 811310 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 Pacific Time, JUN 10TH, 2021 will be reviewed by the Government. ��A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. �Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions concerning this notice must be submitted in writing the Contracting Officer, email address is: barbara.falero@uscg.mil. The solicitation is restricted to: ALLIED SYSTEMS COMPANY Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. See justification for other than full and open competition attachment. If no affirmative responses are received by the date specified above to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be negotiated and awarded to ALLIED SYSTEMS COMPANY.
