- Page 2 of 2 36C24221Q0946 SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE TRUSYSTEM HILLROM SYRACUSE VAMC The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office NC02 in conjunction with the Syracuse VA Medical Centers, intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code is 339112 with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with HILL-ROM Company, INC., d/b/a Trumpf Medical 2716 Solution Center Chicago, IL 60677. This contract will be a Firm Fixed Price sole source for Trusystem. The Syracuse VAMC is in need of a Trusystem - Integrated Table Motion that enables the da Vinci Xi,® Surgical System to connect to the TS 7000dV OR Table. This equipment allows for the patient to be dynamically positioned while the surgeon operates. The table can be repositioned during surgery to get optimal exposure and access to the target anatomy, increase autonomy for the surgeon and anesthesiologist. Other persons may identify their interest by responding to this requirement by Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 10:00 am EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
