Amendment 0001 dated May 27, 2021 - Questions posed by industry and government's response. Q1.�� For the 35 rooms staying on Friday night, do they get breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings? A1.�� Breakfast meals are not a requirement of this solicitation nor any resulting award. Q2.�� Do you intend for the child care to take place at the same hotel as the meeting?� It says�within 30 miles, does that mean the company providing the service can be no more than 30 miles from the hotel?� A2.�� Child care services will take place at the same locations as the Yellow Ribbon Events in accordance with sections 5.14.12 (Richmond) and 5.21.12 (Virginia Beach) of the Performance Work Statements. �Family members of the children being cared for will be in the same facility�. Q3.�� If the meeting starts at 7am, do you not intend to provide any breakfast for the group?� No�mid am snacks?� A3.�� Breakfast meals nor mid-morning snacks are a requirement of this solicitation and any resulting award. -----End of Amendment 0001----- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in�subpart� 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 1. Addendum to 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items (JUN 2020) THIS SECTION IS FOR SOLICITATION PURPOSES ONLY. PROVISIONS FROM THIS SECTION WILL BE PHYSICALLY REMOVED FROM ANY RESULTANT AWARD. 1.1 Addendum to FAR 52.212-l (b), Submission of offers. Interested parties shall submit an electronic copy of their dated quote via e-mail to curtis.l.gardner6.civ@mail.mil with the solicitation number W912LQ21Q0019 the subject block not later than 1:00p.m. ET, June 1, 2021. Facsimile offers will not be accepted. In addition to the items required by 52.212-l (b), the offeror shall complete and provide the following with their submission: 1.1.1 Completed Price Schedule 1.1.2 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications � Commercial Items 1.1.3 252.203-7005 1.1.4 252.204-7016 1.1.5 252.204-7017 1.2 Addendum to FAR 52.212-l (t), Late submissions, modifications, revisions, and withdrawal of offers. This paragraph is tailored to read as follows: Interested parties are responsible for submitting electronic quotes by the solicitation due date and time. Quotes received after the solicitation due date and time may considered late and will be handled in accordance with FAR 52.212-l (t). 1.3 Questions shall be submitted electronically to curtis.l.gardner6.civ@mail.mil no later than 2:00 PM ET on May 26, 2021. Questions submitted after this deadline, or by telephone, may not be answered. 2. The quantities are estimated and shall not be exceeded without a signed contract modification by a warranted contracting officer. Quantities may be decreased by the government point of contract by the date specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The government shall not be invoiced for more than the final count provided by June 8, 2021 for the Richmond Virginia area event, and June 23, 2021 for the Virginia Beach, Virginia area event.. 3. Pricing shall include all applicable fees and non-exempt taxes. This Request for Quote (RFQ) is being issued on a competitive basis. 4. Interested vendors are responsible for ensuring all information is submitted by the closing date and time. 5. Basis for Award. An award(s) will be made to the vendor(s) whose quote meets all minimum requirements in accordance with the performance work statement(s) and is the lowest price, considering the potential for multiple awards. When evaluating the potential for multiple awards, the government will use an evaluation factor of $500.00 per award to determine if overall it is in the government's best interest to make more than one award. 6. In order to be considered for award, vendors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at w ww.sam.gov . Interested parties can register or update their registration at no cost. 7. The PWS, included as an attachment to this announcement, or subsequent amendment, will be made a part of any resulting award.
