SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Reference Number # DOIAFBO210082 Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR INVITATION FOR BID. THIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY BIE. Project Name: Water Study for San Felipe Elementary Location: Contractor�s facility with travel to BIE office in Albuquerque, NM and San Felipe Elementary School in San Felipe Pueblo, NM NAICS: 541330, Engineering Services with a Small Business Size Standard of $16.5M Type of Contract: Firm Fixed Price BIE is seeking contractors to determine the San Felipe Pueblo Elementary School�s current and projected water consumption and wastewater generation profiles, evaluate the reasonableness of current water and wastewater costs, and identify potential alternative sources of drinking water supply and methods of wastewater disposal independent of San Felipe Pueblo utilities (decentralized), including estimated lifecycle cost analysis for each alternative. The results of this work will provide a detailed summary of findings, conclusions, and substantive recommendations. Based on this work, the BIE will decide to either continue with the current utility services provided by the San Felipe Pueblo or pursue development of an alternative source of drinking water and alternative method for wastewater disposal to support the school�s current and projected operational needs. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Respondents shall include the following information in response to this Sources Sought: 1) Name of Prime Contractor (include name of subcontractors if applicable and include the percentage and type of work that will be self-performed on this project) 2) Company Address 3) Duns and Bradstreet Number (DUNS) 4) Socioeconomic category (Indian-owned, Woman-owned, 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran, etc) 5) Point of Contact (include direct telephone number and email address) 6) Capabilities and experience that describes recent and RELEVANT past performance for the draft scope of work attached 7) Applicable information as it pertains to this announcement, to include but not limited to the following specific details on the company�s capability as it relates to this service requirement. Note: All Businesses working with the BIE MUST have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database. The purpose of this market research is to survey prospective vendors in order to collect data, comments, and other information pertaining to this industry. Upon review of the responses to this sources sought notice, BIE will determine if a set-aside (in full or in part) or procurement through full and open competition is in their best interest. Indian owned businesses are encouraged to respond as a prime or subcontractor. BIE is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for any information received from potential sources. All information submitted in response to this announcement is strictly voluntary. Only electronic mail will be acceptable for vendor�s submissions. No feedback or evaluations will be provided regarding such submissions.
