Description
The Allegheny National Forest is soliciting a contract for the operation, maintenance, testing, recordkeeping and reporting of the Bradford Ranger District Office, Kinzua Beach and Kinzua Point Information Center�s Potable Water Treatment Facilities. The Bradford Office is located at 29 Forest Service Drive, Bradford, PA. Kinzua Beach (coordinates: 41.854, -78.956) and Kinzua Point Information Center (coordinates: 41.859, -78.963) are located off PA-59. The contractor is required to furnish all labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies sufficient to operate the system. No repairs to the system are authorized as part of this contract Bradford Ranger District Office General Description: The Bradford Ranger District Office is located at 29 Forest Service Drive within the Allegheny National Forest. The Bradford Ranger District Office water system is operated continuously. The water source is spring fed and the treatment system consists of an automatic chlorinator feeder. The Public Water System Name is �USDA Bradford Ranger Station� and the PWS ID is 6420303. This system has monthly, annual, and triennial monitoring and reporting requirements. Kinzua Beach General Description: The Kinzua Beach Water Treatment Facility (Facility) is located within Kinzua Beach Recreation Area in the Allegheny National Forest. The Facility is on top one of the 26,000-gallon storage tanks overlooking the beach. The system�s normal operating season is May 20th-September 15th. The contractor will be required to seasonally startup the system in May and shutdown the system in September. Startup and operation procedures are included as attachments of the Revised Total Coliform Rule (RTCR) and included in attachment A. The Seasonal Public Water System Name is �US Forest Service � Kinzua Beach� and the PWS ID is 6620356. This system has monthly and annual monitoring and reporting requirements.
