Description
THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR QUOTES THIS IS A SYNOPSIS OF AN UPCOMING SOLICITATION The Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia-Pacific Northwest Region intends to solicit quotations for six Online/Offline Transformer Oil Dryout Units, Grand Coulee Dam, Washington. The requirement is for six Online/Offline Transformer Oil Dryout Units, with the following requirements: - MANUFACTURED BY A SMALL BUSINESS - Buy American Act Compliant - The requirement is for a compact, portable, online/offline transformer purification and vacuum dehydration system that will remove free, emulsified and dissolved water to below 10 Parts Per Million (PPM) as well as dissolved gases and particulate from Type I and Type II transformer oils while the transformer is energized (online) and de-energized (off-line). In addition, each unit will be permanently affixed to an enclosed trailer platform. Pursuant to Part 12 and Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, Reclamation intends to award one fixed-price contract. This pre-solicitation notice was unable to be posted due to system errors. It is now posted to comply with FAR 5.204. Reclamation issued RFQ 140R1721Q0035 as a set-aside for Total Small Businesses and closed on May 21, 2021. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333999 with an associated Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. Reclamation considered all responsible sources who submit a timely quote and that conformed to the solicitation. Offerors submit quotes, with contact information to Bureau of Reclamation, PO Box 620, Grand Coulee, WA 99133, or by electronic mail to tmest@usbr.gov. Any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the time of offer or quotation is submitted in order to comply with the annual representations and certifications requirements. SAM is a Federal Government owned and operated FREE website located at www.SAM.gov. All invoices for this procurement must be submitted through the Department of Treasury�s Internet Payment Platform (IPP).
