- ***Please read and adhere to the attachments in this RFQ. This is set aside exclusively for small businesses. Quotes from other than those vendors will not be considered. The governments� expectation to all interested vendors is to purchase CLINS 001 through 0004, with the understanding that CLINS 005 through 007 will come with this purchase as an ongoing rented or leased agreement of supplies. Not to be purchased normally as CLINS 001 through 004. All interested small businesses, for your bid to be considered not only submit a quote of your product but also fill out and submit section A of this RFQ. Failure to do so will disqualify your bid, as the information that is in section A is required, along with a up to date SAMs registration. All interested small businesses upon submission of an offer, invoices are not immediately needed to show like or same products being sold to either private or public institutions, however do have them available after the closing of the RFQ as needed. Contractors interested in this solicitation refer to section B and section C for product information and salient characteristics of this RFQ for details concerning concerning access and requirements needed to fulfill solicitation. All responses must be received by Thursday�June�10th at 0700AM eastern standard time. This requirement is being�issued as all or nothing and best value. ***If there are any questions, please contact Isaac Elliott, Contract Specialist, Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Va. via email: Isaac.L.Elliott3.civ@mail.mil Questions and Answers: 28 May 2021 Question: After reviewing can you confirm that items 5-7, the ones with the 32qt, you are NOT looking to buy?�� So a quote should have items 1-4 (100qts) as a cost and lines 5-7 (32qt) as a rental/lease pricing option? If that is the case do you know the duration of the rental/lease? Answer: Items 5-7, we are looking to rent or lease, items 1-4 are to be purchased. Also this will be a yearly /annual contract. The expectation is as long as the items 5-7 continue to work properly, relevant in�their technology, and needed by the department the hospital will continue to purchase the consumables items 1-4. Question: If we are not�able to rent/lease items 5-7 can we still bid on items 1-4? Answer: No, as this is currently being solicited as�brand name or equal, all or nothing solicitation.�The consumables�would not do the customer any good if�they did not�have the equipment.
