Description

This requirement is for commercial wireless Internet access of 400Mbps for building 465 at Nellis AFB. The Internet bandwidth will be provided utilizing the installed wireless access points previously installed and maintained by MidAtlanticBroadband (MABB) aka Protel Services. NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE:� The NAICS Code is 517911. The 99th Contracting Squadron, Nellis AFB, NV contemplates awarding a single source purchase order as authorized by FAR 6.302-1 to MidAtlanticBroadband (MABB) aka Protel Services. �MidAtlanticBroadband currently provides recreational Internet service for all of the Nellis Inn under contract FA41999-07-D-6082. That contract provides recreational Internet on a shared basis between all of the guest rooms of the Nellis Inn. �This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. �However, all responses received electronically by 1:00PM PST, 12 June 2021 that are equivalent to Protel Services will be considered by the Government. �A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. �Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� Any quotations should be e-mailed to michael.mcguire.16@us.af.mil no later than 12 June 2021, 1:00PM Pacific Time.� Only proposals received by this date will be considered.� All questions should be directed to Master Sergeant Michael McGuire at michael.mcguire.16@us.af.mil or 702-652-9577. Be advised that all correspondence sent via e-mail shall contain a subject line that reads �F3G5GA1112AW01, NELLIS LODGING WI-FI UPGRADE BLDG 465�� Note that e-mail filters at Nellis AFB are designed to filter e-mails without subject lines or with suspicious subject lines or contents (i.e., .exe, or .zip files).� Therefore, if this subject line is not included, the e-mail may not get through the e-mail filters.� Also be advised that .zip or .exe files are not allowable attachments and may be deleted by the e-mail filters at Nellis AFB.� If sending attachments with e-mail, ensure only .PDF, .doc, docx, xls, or .xsls documents are sent.� The e-mail filter may delete any other form of attachments.
