Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and proposals are being requested. 80KSC021R0037 is issued as a request for proposals (RFP). The provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2021-05. This acquisition provides for full and open competition. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 336419 and 1,000 employees, respectively. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Kennedy Space Center (KSC) has a requirement for processing facilities and services for the Joint Polar Satellite System-2 (JPSS-2) spacecraft, hereafter referred to as spacecraft, to be launched on an Atlas V launch vehicle. Services to be provided are delineated in Section 4, List of Documents, Exhibits, and Other Attachments. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference in Section 6.2 of the RFP. Offerors must comply with FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, provided at Section 5.9 of the RFP. Evaluation criteria for this acquisition is provided in Section 7.3 of the RFP. Written questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted in accordance with Section 6.6.
