SUBJECT: Air Stack Modular Chiller System Troubleshooting & Repairs, Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center, Clarksburg, WV 26301 DISCLAIMER: This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. Neither unsolicited proposals nor any other kind of offers will be considered in response to this Sources Sought. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. All information received in response to this Sources Sought that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to the Sources Sought will not be returned. At this time, questions concerning the composition and requirements for a future RFP will not be entertained. SUBJECT: The Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center is conducting market research in order to provide Air Stack Modular Chiller System Troubleshooting & Repairs. OBJECTIVE: See Statement of Work below RESPONSE INSTRUCTIONS: Name and Address of Company Any small business designation as certified by the Small Business Administration A through description of experience in managing support requirements of this nature. CONTACT INFORMATION: Any questions related to this RFI shall be directed to Phillip Duba at Phillip.Duba@va.gov. All information regarding Capabilities Statements or any other proprietary information relative to this RFI shall be submitted via email to Phillip.Duba@va.gov no later than 1:00 pm EST on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. STATEMENT OF WORK General intention: It is the general intention of the Louis A. Johnson VAMC located in Clarksburg WV to obtain contractor services. For the provision of labor, and materials to troubleshoot and repair an Air stack modular chiller system assembly. Model # ASP7.5P, serial # JI11-073 Requirements of contractor: It will be incumbent upon the contractor to provide all supervision personnel, equipment, material, tool, and PPE to complete work described. Contractor will perform full troubleshooting of system failures minimally related to loss of one refrigerant circuit confirmed to require the replacement of one tandem compressor ZRT122K3ETF5950. Bid item 1: Contractor shall provide pricing to include all material, and labor for replacement of the tandem compressor. Additional items required and to be included in contractor pricing include line drier, R410A, miscellaneous material for leak check, and proper operation verification. Bid item 2: Contractor shall provide a replacement chilled water 7.5 HP pump. All labor, and balancing services required to verify proper installation and function following installation. Bid item 3: Contractor shall provide hourly labor rates for additional troubleshooting not related to conditions found. Total contract awarded as a not to exceed value. Additional services and labor may be exercised under this contract, based upon: Contractors offered labor rate (Bid Item 3) commercial value of additional materials or equipment required to make full repair. Contractor will verify that installation and materials meet VHA Master Specifications available at: http://www.cfm.va.gov/TIL/
