Description

THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND NO CONTRACT�SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) POSTING GSA is seeking a Contractor to provide a design and construction services to modify the upper and lower sections of the existing brass guard podiums to be level 3 ballistic rated as described in the Scope of Work section 1.4.� The existing guard podiums at the Worth St. and Pearl St. entrances are made of brass and detailed to match the architecture of the space. The podiums are fixed with a worktop and a raised transaction counter on three sides. The podiums currently have ballistic panels installed in the front lower section of the podiums. The podiums will need to be modified to provide a level 3 ballistic rating. This RFI is to determine the capability of small business construction sources for contemplated effort to modify existing podiums at Daniel Patrick Moynihan U.S. Court House (Site 54N), 500 Pearl Street, New York, NY. RFI is for procurement planning purposes only for eventual solicitationand award.� This is a NOT a request for a proposal, quote or commitment on the part of the Government. Attached is a draft Statement of Work and podium photos for this projec. Requesting a Capability Statement NLT 10 June 2021.� Capability Statement should demonstrate understanding, capability, approach, quailifications and past experience in the meeting scope of work required for this project. Site Visit is anticipated when this project is solicited for a price proposal from qualified sources.
