- Description
- This Special Notice is to provide an update to the previous SAM.gov posting entitled, ""Sources Sought Notice for the USCG Electrical Wire Harness Kit Engineering and Production for the MH-60T Sustainment Program."" This Special Notice also updates the Acquisition Planning Forecast System (APFS) record P2020050971. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to publish the solicitation as a small-business set-aside on SAM.gov in late June / early July 2021, with proposals due by the end of July 2021 and award planned for August / September 2021. To facilitate and expedite the solicitation process, the USCG is providing a draft Statement of Work (SOW), which includes the draft Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), entitled ""MH-60T Wire Harness Follow-On SOW (For Special Notice - 02 JUNE 2021)."" This document isprovided as a PDF attached to this notice. Please note that the other attached PDF - entitled ""MH-60T Wire Harness Follow-On SOW (For Special Notice)"" - is outdated and will not be provided to vendors. Due to a technical issue with the sam.gov system, the USCG has put this PDF under controlled access to make it inaccessible and will try to delete it at a later date. The USCG is providing this document to allow for interested vendors to reviewit and to ask any questions on potential areas of confusion, text that needs clarification, text that needs additonal information to better understand what the USCG is asking for, etc. The USCG will not be compensating vendors for this process, but is providing it solely to assist with the upcoming solicitation. Vendors are not required to participate in this voluntary review process in order to be a part of the solicitation and award later on. The USCG does not intend to have one-on-one meetings with interested vendors to addresstheir questions; rather, vendors shall provide their comments and questions in the attached Excel matrix and email it to nate.dolezal@uscg.miland andrew.gordon@uscg.mil. The USCG will then consider all feedback during the solicitation preparation and will potentially revise the SOW and CDRLs for greater clarity. The USCG will consider any comments/questions provided by 3 PM Eastern on Friday, 18 June 2021, and may or may not consider anything received after that time and date. Vendors are encouraged to provide comments/questions as they arise and not wait until the deadline. Finally, the USCG will beproviding drawings similar to the wire harness kits that will be built and delivered under this solicitation to assist interested vendors in scoping this work. However, these drawings cannot be released without a signed and complete DD Form 2345 from the vendor. To access these drawings, the vendors shall submit the completed DD-2345 to nate.dolezal@uscg.miland andrew.gordon@uscg.mil. Thank you for your time and your interest in this procurement.
