Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 19 (NCO 19) intends to issue and award a sole source firm fixed price single award type contract to from JE Hurley, Inc. located at 1545 Cedar Valley Lane, Colorado Springs, CO 80919 providing equipment to the Eastern Oklahoma Veterans Health Care System, Tulsa Health Care Center, Audiology Department.� Delivery Location: Eastern Oklahoma VA Healthcare System, 8921 S Mingo Rd, Tulsa, OK 71433. The new Tulsa Health Care Center is in need of a Computerized Dynamic Posturography. This item can only be procured from the manufacturer, Bertec.� Pursuant to 38 U.S.C 8127(b), COs may use other than full and open competition when awarding to SDVOSB and VOSB firms for procurements under the SAT.� This procurement is for a Brand Name item. The NAICS code for this procurement is 339112 and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is 1000 employees.� It has been determined JE Hurley Inc. is the one responsible source who can provide this requirement in the Tulsa, OK area in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with procedures in FAR Part 12, Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. If Vendors believe they have the technical capability to meet this need, submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. Vendors who are not registered in System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award will not be considered. Vendors may register with SAM by going on via the web to https://www.sam.gov. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES/PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICIATION IS AVAILABLE. Telephone request will not be honored. No award will be made based on quotes or offers received in response to this notice. All responsible sources may identify their interest to meet this requirement to ladonna.collins@va.gov by 1:00 P.M. Mountain Time, Wednesday , June 9, 2021. Additionally, any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the government. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
