Description
Hull Coatings Maintenance of six 33 Foot Patrol Boats.� This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, N4523A21Q1053, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) by Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF) Code 440 Contracting and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect from regulations posted to https://www.acquisition.gov/ inclusive, but not limited to, Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) number 2021-05. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for this solicitation is 336611 with a size standard of 1,250 employees.� This requirement is solicited as a total small business set-aside. The requirement is a commercial item in accordance with FAR 2.101. The requirement is to obtain services to provide an end item of supply consistent with 10 U.S.C. Section 7299. The requirement includes hull coating maintenance of six patrol boats. All work shall be accomplished at the Contractor's facility. Vessel characteristics are as follows: 33 FT SAFE Boat (SPC-LE SV33) Length: 35-FT 3-IN Draft (Full Load): 2-FT 9-IN Width:� 10-FT Engines: Mercury Verado 300 Model: Full Cabin Light Load Weight: 12,932 LBS Manufacture Year: 2010 Horsepower:� 900 HP Hull Type: Aluminum, Monohull Navy Hull #� � � � � USCG Hull # # 33PB1004� � � � � � 33150 33PB1005� � � � � � 33151 33PB1006� � � � � � 33152 33PB1010� � � � � � 33156 33PB1011� � � � � � 33157 33PB1012� � � � � � 33158 Scope Overview: The Contractor will coordinate with the Contracting Officer, via the Contracting Officer�s Representative (COR) to schedule delivery of the vessel to the Contractor�s facility.� Upon docking vessel, wash and clean vessel. �Apply Foreign Material Exclusions (FME). �Prepare the hull and repair/replace failing anti-foulant paint.� Apply anti-foulant paint system to collars, 2-inches above the submerged waterline.� Remove all masking materials when paint is completely cured to prep for inspection and ground transportation.� Arrange and coordinate pick up of the vessel by the Government with the Contracting Officer via the COR.
