- Description
- This is a solicitation for Household Goods Packing and Crating Services in Kanagawa.�The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, except as specified herein as government-furnished, for the preparation of personal property (including servicing of appliances) of Department of Defense (DOD) personnel for shipment, drayage and/or storage and related services through the Direct Procurement Method (DPM). The solicitation closes on 14 June 2021 at 1400 Japan Standard Time. (1)� A pre-proposal conference will be conducted at the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka, Joint Personal Property Shipping Office (JPPSO Japan), Bldg 1848, Fleet Activities Yokosuka on 26 May 2021, 14:00, Japan Standard Time (JST) for the purpose of answering questions regarding this solicitation.� Submit the names of all attendees (not to exceed 3 persons) to Capt Jinny Shen, Contract Specialist by e-mail at jinny.shen.1@us.af.mil and Mr. Ken Sato by e-mail at ken.sato.jp@us.af.mil prior to 21 May 2021, 02:00, JST.� This information must be provided in advance in order to ensure access to the military base/conference site and adequate seating for the conference attendees. (2)� Offerors are requested to submit questions to the point of contact noted above not later than 1 Jun 2021, 02:00 PM, JST.� Information provided at this conference shall not qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications.� Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing.� If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply.� A record of the conference shall be made and furnished to all prospective bidders/offerors.� The record should include minutes of the meeting, including questions and answers. (3)� Escorting for U.S. Installations.� In order to gain access on an U.S. installation for participation of the pre-proposal conference, the offerors must possess an individual identification with a photo. �The identification will be checked at gate on the U.S. installations by Security Police prior to access to the U.S. installations. 19 May 2021: This notice has been UPDATED to provide editable versions of certain attachments. 25 May 2021: Updated attachments (Performance Work Statement and Price List) 2 Jun 2021:�Minutes for Pre-proposal Conference conducted on 26 May 2021 and Amendment 0001 issued on 1 Jun 2021 to revise the Exhibits A,B,C (Pricing Schedules) and Present/Past Performance Reference List have been uploaded.
