- CONTRACT TYPE: �The contract will be firm-fixed price. This requirement will be competed and awarded under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to select one Contractor from the subject solicitation.� This solicitation is 100% Small Business set-aside.� NAICS Code: 334220 � Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing. Description/Salient Features: Capability of providing many users with access to the network by sharing multiple lines or frequencies via P25 Trunking. Capability of changing a radio�s encryption keys over the air. Capability of sending and receiving programed information, such as frequency loads, radio-to-radio from portable, mobile or base stations. Capability of automatically selecting the best site to operate from in a wide-area system by selecting the channel with the best signal. High Power 110 Watt radio frequency (RF) output. Capability to eliminate any black out frequencies on the net caused by prolonged period of fading or faded radio communications from ionospheric changes. Capability to customize scanning by channel, priority channel, or scan by groups, one group at time. Compatible with the P25 Military Rapid Deployment Portable Repeater system.� Must be compatible with existing Repeater System.� The P25 Military Rapid Deployment Portable Repeater System is designed to extend range and to facilitate interoperability with other radios platforms used in the Military. Frequency Range (MHz) 136-174 Capability to allow a computer to connect for programming radio. The USP&FO for Maine is requesting for 14 each of Base Station Digital VHF Radios.
