- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Tomah VA Medical Center, VISN 12, 500 E Veterans Street, Tomah, WI 54660, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), awarded on a sole source basis with IWA Technical Services for the maintenance and support of the Code Blue Paging System. NAICS 517312 and PSC code DF01 apply. IWA Technical services is the only known source available to provide the requested support and maintenance of the Code Blue Paging System. IWA is the installer of the system, which custom infrastructure (antennas, cabling), custom hardware (redundant failover servers) and custom programming/configuration (network, phone system) that are known only to the installer and maintainer of the system. Market Research has not discovered any other capable and interested sources that can perform this work. Periods of performance are as follows: Base Period of Performance: 06/01/2021 05/31/2022 $18,000.00 Option Year 1: 06/01/2022 05/31/2023 $18,600.00 Option Year 2: 06/01/2023 05/31/2024 $19,200.00 Option Year 3: 06/01/2024 05/31/2025 $19,800.00 Option Year 4: 06/01/2025 05/31/2026 $20,400.00 For the purposes of the award of this Contract, the Government evaluated the option to extend services, provided under FAR 52.217-8, as follows: The evaluation will consider the possibility that the option can be exercised at any time, and can be exercised in increments of one to six months, but for no more than a total of six months during the life of the contract. The evaluation will assume that the prices for any option exercised under FAR 52.217-8 will be at the same rates as those in effect under the contract. The evaluation will therefore assume that the addition of the price or prices of any possible extension or extensions under FAR 52.217-8 to the total price for the basic requirement and the total price for the priced options.
