EDT CONTRACT SPECIALIST NAME & PHONE NUMBER:� Jennifer Carter (239) 221-2029 DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project work consists of dredging shoal material from the Alafia River Channel and Turning Basin. Material will be disposed into DMPF-3D which is located south of Alafia River Channel. The required project depth is 33 and 34 feet with one foot of allowable overdepth. Site dewatering shall take place at DMPF-3D during disposal operations and continue until the requirements of Section 35 20 23 DREDGING have been met. Work also includes the repair of the north weir outfall pipe on DMPF-3D, environmental species monitoring, turbidity monitoring, bird monitoring, and overall management of disposal operations at DMPF-3D. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS:� The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about June 3, 2021 and bids will be due on or about July 2, 2021. NAICS Code 237990, size standard $30.0 million. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Estimated Period of Performance is 260 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE ACQUISITION.� ALL RESPONSIBLE SMALL BUSINESS CONTRACTORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE.
