- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO4) intends to sole source a contract for Cleaver Brooks boiler systems and associated BFS equipment maintenance, inspection, calibration tuning, and repair services for the main boiler plant at the following medical centers. Corporal Michael J. Crescenz Medical Center 3900 Woodland Avenue Philadelphia PA 19104 Altoona VA Medical Center 2907 Pleasant Valley Blvd Altoona, PA 16602 Wilmington VA Medical Center 1601 Kirkwood Hwy Wilmington, DE 19805 Lebanon VA Medical Center 1700 South Lincoln Ave Lebanon, PA 17042 The objective of this sole source award is for a firm fixed price contract with a base year and four (4) year options with DelVal Equipment Corporation, 604 General Washington, Ave, Norristown, PA 19403, DUNS 014441174. This sole source determination is in accordance with FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition, procedures and in accordance with 41 USC 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. DelVal is the only known authorized servicing agent for Cleaver Brooks Boilers and BFS Industries equipment at the locations provided above. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238220. The Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard is $16.5 Million. The PSC code is J045, Maint/repair/rebuild Of Equipment- Plumbing, Heating, and Waste Disposal Equipment. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for quotes. Interested vendors that can meet this requirement (draft SOW is attached), should identify their interest and capability, and respond to this notice by 6/28/2021 by 3:00 PM EST. Interested vendors must send a capability statement, no more than one page in length; to include Company Name, Duns Number, Socioeconomic Category, brief description of your business entities capability to provide these services. All information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be sent via email to the Contracting Officer. E-mail: renee.kale@va.gov. Facsimile or telephonic responses will not be accepted. Simply responding as an interested party does not constitute your company as a source. Offeror must provide the above requested information. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
