- ***UPDATE*** Due to the amount of interest the Government has received for this Industry Day, the updated response date for RSVPs has been extended to 08 June 2021 at 1:00PM EST. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Specialized and Proven Aircraft Program Office (PMA-226), Adversary Aircraft program is issuing this Special Notice as a means to provide industry with the opportunity to review the proposed DRAFT F-5 & F-16 Adversary Aircraft Maintenance and Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) requirements and obtain industry feedback, concerns, suggestions and comments. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code utilized for these acquisitions are 488190 � Other Support Activities for Air Transportation. The Product Service Codes (PSC) are J015. GENERAL INFORMATION: The Government anticipates to award two (2) Single Award Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) type contracts. NAVAIR intends to solicit and evaluate proposals in accordance with FAR part 15. These acquisitions are expected to include Organizational (O), selected Intermediate (I), and limited Depot (D) level maintenance and logistics support services Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) for each site, separate Over and Above (O&A), Overtime/Weekend, Material, and Travel CLINs. This announcement notifies industry of an upcoming event for Government Market research via an Industry Day. This announcement is for planning purposes only. A subsequent notice will include the draft requirements for these solicitations. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue a RFP in the future. This announcement does not commit the Government to award a contract as a result of this announcement. These requirements are subject to change and the information provided is for informational purposes only. The final requirements will be defined under formal RFPs. Further, the Navy is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this announcement notice. All costs associated with responding to this announcement will be solely at the expense of the interested party. Not responding to this announcement does not preclude participation in any future RFPs, if issued. If solicitations are released, it will be synopsized on www.beta.SAM.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this website for additional information pertaining to these requirements. Industry Day is a mechanism where interested parties can gain more insight into NAVAIR�s proposed acquisition. The Government will present a briefing with an open forum to address questions. A limit of fifteen (15) minutes will be allowed for one-on-one discussions after the open forum, if requested by potential Offerors. Both large and small businesses are encouraged to attend. INDUSTRY DAY WILL BE HELD: DATE: 30 Jun 2021 TIME: To be provided upon receipt of RSVP LOCATION: Lexington Park, MD � a more defined location will be specified at a later date. A virtual option will be available via a Government approved virtual service. A RSVP is still required to receive the link to join virtually. GENERAL INFORMATION: Please note the following regarding the Industry Day: Arrive fifteen (15) minutes early for registration Bring one (1) form of valid Government issued identification Cell phones, tape recorders and videos are prohibited NAVAIR intends to discuss the following areas: General capability of Contract Logistics Support (CLS) services being sought. Industry concerns with the DRAFT requirements Contract structure/CLIN structure recommendations Other areas/information that industry may wish to discuss RSVPs are required in order to attend. Please send RSVPs to Kristin Nelson, kristin.nelson@navy.mil and Jon Lyons, Jon.Lyons@navy.mil no later than 31 May 2021. Please include the name, e-mail address, title, and phone number of all individuals that will be attending, in addition to the request for a fifteen (15) minute one-on-one discussion, if preferred. Please note due to space available, contractors will be limited to two (2) attendees per vendor. The DRAFT RFP sections contain publicly releasable, unclassified documentation, which is posted herein. All subsequent Draft RFP documents and publicly releasable information will reside on the Beta System for Award Management (SAM). It is recommended that interested Offerors check the beta.sam.gov site frequently for any updates.
