- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE On behalf of the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, 5000 West National Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53295, the VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Home Health Medical (HHM) for Acute Outpatient Nursing Services. The purpose of this Special Notice is to post the Government s intent to sole source to HHM. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of FAR 18.104 Unusual and Compelling Urgency per 41 USC ยง3304(a)(2) as implemented by FAR 6.302-2. The Milwaukee VA Medical Center has a requirement for a vendor to provide a pool of nurses for its COVID-19 Clinic. HHM has demonstrated its ability to establish and staff COVID-19 clinics. HHM provided a proposal to meet the needs of the VA and accepted HHM s Vaccination Implementation Strategy. The performance period will be for six months with an anticipated start date of June 14, 2021. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 561320 Temporary Help Services. This notice is NOT a request for competitive quotes. No telephone responses will be accepted.
