Description

The US Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Region Acquisition Division, Simplified Acquisition Branch intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Perkin Elmer Health Sciences, Inc., 710 Bridgeport Avenue, Shelton, CT 06484-4794 using the procedures in FAR Part 13, to furnish all materials, travel expenses, labor, tools, and equipment necessary to provide full maintenance (including two preventative maintenance visits over a 12 month period at no greater than six month intervals) and emergency services on the Perkin Elmer NexIon 300D ICP/MS (serial number 81DN3041702), Elemental Scientific SC-4 DX auto sampler (serial number 150821), cooling system (serial number 6160T21E4Q1N), pump assembly (serial number 198770) and controlling software (hereafter called the Instrument) for a base period and four (4) option years. Period of Performance September 15, 2021 through September 14, 2022.� The Instrument is located at the NOAA, National Ocean Service, and National Centers for Coastal Ocean Sciences, Hollings Marine Laboratory, 331 Fort Johnson Road, Charleston, SC. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Only one responsible source.
