- Amendment 0003 adds Attachment 9 Statement of Work Addendum 01, and, Attachment 10 Answers to Questions 08 through 10. Amendment 0002 adds a 2nd Site Visit/Tour and extends the Response Due Date to 06/15/2021. The site visit host for the first site visit/tour on 05/20/2021 did not have key access to the facility buildings. Thus, a second organized site visit/tour has been scheduled for Friday, June 4, 2021 @ 1200 (noon) local time. Interested vendors shall meet at the Honolulu Magnetic Observatory, 91-270 Fort Weaver Rd, Ewa Beach, Hawaii 96706 front gate. Vendors interested in attending the Site Visit shall notify Mark Nelson, mdnelson@usgs.gov, and Cc Don Downey, ddowney@usgs.gov, by email, by not later than 1200 noon on the workday prior to the site visit. The email message shall include: the firm's name, address, and website; and, each visitor's name, email address and phone number. Each visitor must have a government-issued, picture ID such as a driver's license. Amendment 0001 adds: Attachment 5 Questions and Answers 01 to 07; Attachment 6 Utility Bills Sep-Dec 2020; Attachment 7 Electrical Site Plan Drawing; and Attachment 8 Energy Assessment; and also extends the response due date to 06/02/2021. This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice is to announce the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for the construction of a New Solar and Backup Power System for the USGS Honolulu Magnetic Observatory, 91-270 Fort Weaver Rd, Ewa Beach, Hawaii 96706 USA. The policies contained in FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, with evaluation and award prescribed in Part 15, as appropriate, shall be used for this acquisition. Set-aside. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, which has a small business size standard of $16.5M. In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the estimated construction price is: (b) Between $25,000 and $100,000. Site Visit. An organized site visit has been scheduled for Thursday, May 20, 2021 @ 1200 (noon) local time. Interested vendors shall meet at the Honolulu Magnetic Observatory, 91-270 Fort Weaver Rd, Ewa Beach, Hawaii 96706 front gate.
