THIS IS ONLY A DRAFT FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES. NO PROPOSAL IS REQUESTED AT THIS TIME. The Program Manager, Engineer Systems (PM ES), Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) will, within the next 6 months, post the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the TAGRS. The TAGRS will be a modular trailer-mounted system with refueling components to provide a two point refueling capability. The TAGRS will be compatible with the following existing fuel storage pods/bags/systems: Helicopter Expedient Refueling System (HERS); Tactical Airfield Fuel Dispensing System (TAFDS); fuel Six Containers Together (SIXCON); Flatrack Refueling Capability (FRC); MK970 refueling truck; CMV22/CV22/MV22 Mission Auxillary Tank System (MATS)/CH-53/CH-47 Tactical Bulk Fuel Delivery System (TBFDS)/Extended Range Fuel System (ERFS); and the KC/MC-130/C-17/C-5 Aerial Bulk Fuel Delivery System (ABFDS). The TAGRS will be capable of carrying an empty fuel storage capacity of 6,000 gallons and ideally up to 10,000-gallons. When coupled with Ultra-Light Tactical Vehicle (ULTV) 4 seat variant as a prime mover, it will be internally transportable by the CH53. The TAGRS will also be internally transportable by the MV-22. Offerors must demonstrate the ability to restore each TAGRS back to like new condition and make improvements that meet the requirements that will be listed within the upcoming RFP. The Marine Corps requirement is estimated to be 78 TAGRS. The RFP is expected to be released in 4th Quarter Fiscal Year 2021.� The anticipated contract type will be firm-fixed price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), 60 month period of performance (five, 12-month ordering periods). The Government requests responses to the following specific questions: 1.� The Gross Weight, Tongue Weight and Length Dimension specifications in paragraphs 3.4.1.1, 3.4.1.4.1, and 3.4.1.6 respectively of the attached Draft Performance Specification reflect the limitations of the current transportation requirements.� It is anticipated these transportation requirements will be relaxed.� Please address: ���� What is the estimated Gross Weight for a system meeting all other aspects of the Draft Performance Specification? ���� What is the estimated Tongue Weight for a system meeting all other aspects of the Draft Performance Specification? ���� What is the estimated length dimension for a trailer meeting all other aspects of the Draft Performance Specification? 2.�� What is the estimated cost per TAGRS? 3.�� What is the estimated time after contract award when the TAGRS will be ready for a Preliminary Design Review? 4.�� What is the estimated time after contract award when the TAGRS will be ready for a Critical Design Review? 5.� What is the estimated time after contract award to deliver four Low Rate Initial Production TAGRS for Government verification testing? 6.� What are the estimated minimum and maximum monthly production rates for Full Rate Production?
