Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Air Combat Electronics Program (PMA 209), Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and award a Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), N0042117G0003, with Collins Aerospace, 400 Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498-0505 to convert a quantity of up to four-hundred twenty-eight (428) MV-22 and CV-22 Osprey, RT-1990(C)/ARC radios (Collins Aerospace Part Number 822-3137-001) to RT-1990A(C)/ARC radios (Collins Aerospace Part Number 822-3137-002).� The scope of the work to be performed is for the contractor to convert a quantity of up to four-hundred twenty-eight (428) MV-22 and CV-22 RT-1990(C) radios to RT-1990A(C) radios at Collins Aerospace. �The base effort is to convert no more than one-hundred sixty-eight (168) radios (CLIN 0001- 0003).� This contract will include options to convert no more than two-hundred sixty (260) additional RT-1990(C) radios (CLIN 0005 - 0007). The base effort shall include the Out-of-Warranty repairs for up to five (5) radios that failed to pass the pretest (CLIN 0004). This effort shall also include separate options for additional Out-of-Warranty repairs if required (CLIN 0008 - 0010). The effort shall include contractor coordination with V-22 Program Office. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPROSALS. The Government does not intend to fund the development or qualification of other sources for fulfilling this requirement. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this requirement.� The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No phone inquiries will be entertained.
